Pictured: Elastic Metal Bangle Bracelet
To size a bracelet: wrap a strip of paper around your wrist just below the wrist bone, mark where it overlaps, and measure it flat. Add 1.5 to 2 cm for a chain bracelet, more for a bangle, which has to clear the widest part of your hand.

Bangles size differently
A bangle does not fasten, so it has to pass over your hand. Measure around your closed hand at its widest point with your thumb tucked in, not around your wrist. That number is the minimum internal circumference the bangle needs. It is why bangles always sit looser on the wrist than a chain does.
Cuffs are the forgiving option
An open cuff slides on from the side and can be gently adjusted, which makes it the safest choice for gifting or for anyone between sizes. It is also the easiest style to wear if your wrist size fluctuates, which most people's do with heat and activity.
How loose should it actually be
A chain bracelet should move about a centimeter in each direction but not slip over your hand. Too tight and it marks your wrist by afternoon. Too loose and the clasp rotates to the underside, which is the most common reason bracelets get lost.
What to Do With All This
It's why every Ezra Gems piece starts with a surgical-grade stainless steel core, waterproof, hypoallergenic, and tarnish-free by construction, not by care routine. Most of our bracelets are adjustable or come with an extender chain, which removes the sizing problem entirely. Shop Waterproof Jewelry.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I measure my wrist for a bracelet?
Wrap a strip of paper around your wrist just below the wrist bone, mark the overlap, and measure it flat in centimeters. Add 1.5 to 2 cm for a comfortable chain bracelet.
How loose should a bracelet be?
A chain bracelet should slide about a centimeter in each direction but not over your hand. A bangle needs to clear the widest part of your hand, so it sits looser by design.
What if I am between bracelet sizes?
Go larger, or choose an adjustable style. Most Ezra Gems bracelets have an extender chain or an open cuff design, which removes the sizing question entirely.
Is Ezra Gems jewelry really waterproof?
Yes. Every piece is 18K gold plated over surgical stainless steel, a non reactive base that does not corrode in water, chlorine, or salt. You can shower, swim, sweat, and sleep in it.
Will it turn my skin green?
No. There is no copper or brass touching your skin, only surgical stainless steel under the gold plating, so it will not leave green marks or discoloration.
Is it hypoallergenic and nickel free?
Yes. Every piece is nickel free and free of lead and cadmium, made for sensitive skin and ears that react to ordinary gold tone jewelry.
